Maximize Your Potential with the Ball System
Player Performance Points
Each player in your fantasy team earns points based on their real-world performance during games. Points are awarded for actions like scoring, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks, and more. The better your players perform, the more points they’ll accumulate!
Example:
1 Point for every 3 points scored
2 Points for every assist
1 Point for every rebound
3 Points for a steal or block
-1 Point for turnovers
2. Bonus Points for Exceptional Performances
Exceptional performances on the court don’t go unnoticed. Players who exceed certain thresholds (e.g., scoring over 30 points, getting a triple-double) will receive bonus points that can make all the difference in tight matchups.
Example:
+5 Points for a Triple-Double
+10 Points for scoring 40+ points in a game
+3 Points for a game-winning shot
3. Team Performance Bonus
Your team’s overall performance is also important. If your squad collectively exceeds specific performance targets—like accumulating a combined total of points, assists, and rebounds—you’ll receive bonus team points, helping you to rise above the competition.
Example:
+10 Points for a total team performance score of 100+ points
+5 Points if your team wins a game in the simulation
4. Matchup Rewards
Winning head-to-head matchups with other fantasy teams rewards you with matchup points. The more victories you rack up, the higher you’ll climb in the rankings, earning more rewards and unlocking new challenges.
Example:
+15 Points for winning a matchup
+5 Points for an impressive underdog victory (beating a higher-ranked opponent)
5. Injury and Suspension Penalties
Sometimes, the unexpected happens. If a player is injured or suspended during a game, you’ll lose a set amount of points depending on how much time they miss and their impact on your team.
Example:
-5 Points for a player being injured for more than 2 games
-10 Points for a suspension of more than 5 games
6. Power-Up Opportunities
Throughout the season, you’ll earn Power-Ups that can temporarily boost your team’s performance. Activate these power-ups at strategic times to maximize your point potential and give you an edge over other managers.
Example:
Offensive Boost Power-Up: +2 Points for all scoring-related stats for one game
Defensive Boost Power-Up: +2 Points for steals, blocks, and defensive rebounds for one game
